Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer, recognized as a member of the group One Direction. His parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st day of February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, along with three schoolmates, he formed his own group, White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding results. He was always interested in music but also wanted to become a lawyer, physiotherapist or even scout. As a worker in the city's bakery Harry Styles could afford to provide for his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the auditions of 2010 to The X Factor. The reason for this was that his band broke up. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the band to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in the year 2010. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The consequence, they were one of the finalists. They were however 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
