The role she played was Leticia Cisneros two years later in Canaveral de Pasiones. Latewr in 1996 Aracely contested the El Rostro de El Heraldo de Mexico (The face of El Heraldo de Mexico) and won. It was the fact that she was the recipient of such a prominent award attracted her recognition and resulted in more role on television. Throughout the late 1990s Aracely remained in small roles in films such as Mujer Casos de la Vida Real (1996) El Alma is not a color (1997) and Alma Rebelde (1999). Aracely was brought on in 2000 for Maria del Carmen, opposite Fernando Colunga & Helena Rojo in Abrazam very Fuerte. The performance she gave in 2001 in the telenovela won her the Best Actress Award from the El Heraldo de Mexico Awards. In the year following she was cast as Perla on the set of Las Vias del Amor (a Mexican Telenovela) created by Emilio Larrosa and Televisa. The same song with the same name was also used in the production. Aracely paused her film career in order to present Todo Bebe, a television show which aired in theatres in the year 2008. She began singing nursery songs in tribute to Francisco Gabilondo Soler - a Mexican singer, performer, and composer of child's music singer and also known as the name Cri Cri. Aracely won three Billboard Latin Music Awards for Solo Tuya in 2003. She subsequently released the album Sexy in 2005, which was produced by A.B. Quintanilla. The singer recorded two soundtracks to La Patrona, including Juntos tu y yo" as well as La Patrona. Aracely has suggested that she will release an album of her studio work by the year 2014. But, the album remains unfinished.
