She is most well-known for her role as Kate Capshaw, an American actress who retired. She is famous for her performance as Willie Scott, an American nightclub singer and performer in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), directed by eventual husband Steven Spielberg. Since then, she has appeared in Dreamscape (1984), Power (1986), SpaceCamp (1986), Black Rain (1989), Love Affair (1994), Just Cause (1995), and The Love Letter (1999). Capshaw's portraiture work is displayed at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw was a child of Beverley Sue (nee Simon), who is a travel and beauty agent and Edwin Leon Nail (an airline employee of the airline). [4] She was five years old when she relocated to St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Hazelwood Senior High School. Capshaw was awarded a degree at the University of Missouri in education. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a teacher of special education at Southern Boone High School, Ashland, Missouri, as and Rock Bridge High School, Columbia, Missouri.
